My midwife (who is also an RN for what tha'ts worth) said NO to Quikeze because I am low in iron. So if that is a problem for you I would say not to take it.

As several others have mentioned, she recommended titrilac (sp???) so I'd use that.

I found i could take gaviscon in the middle of the night and lie back down straight away. I'll tell you why (I tried it) - because it comes straight back up your throat when you lie down So instead of just acid reflux you get gaviscon reflux lol.

It actually wasn't too bad and did the trick although I only had half a chewy tablet. I got a thing of quickeze in my pack at my first mw appointment , so Im guessing they are fine to take .

Are Quick eze ok to take?

I don't ever remember getting heartburn before but when I woke last night to Jack I had a really hot burning feeling in my oesophagus. We had some Gaviscon in the cupboard but it said not to take directly before sleeping and not to lie down straight away, as it was about 1am that was not an option. I had half a quick eze and it went away. It didn't say anything on the packet but as it came in my Bounty pack I assumed it was ok. If it happens again can I take more?
