I just bought one of these to pop in my handbag for short shopping trips too.

It was at baby factory, on special $12.99 (was $25.95). I probably wouldn't have bought it at full price but for $13 it will be very handy. It's just a mat with 2 mesh holder things on either side - in one side I will put a cloth nappy (a trim one, prob itti bitti) and plastic bag, and the other side comes with a plastic wipes container (like the huggies ones) that I'll put a couple of wet cloth wipes into. There's also a small zip compartment in the front. It folds up to the size of just bigger that one of those small huggies wipes containers.

So Linzy the little one I have would be big enough for 1 trim cloth nappy but not really any more. I am interested in one of these for when baby arrives, thinking I can just use it for quick trips and have a nappy bag with non-nappy related things for when we are out for longer.
Does anyone know if they are big enough for cloth nappies?

I haven't got one but it does look a bit like it could be a pain. What happens if you get the mat dirty? DO you have to wash the whole bag?
I love my detachable changing mat. Anyone have/used one of these? Any good?
They are on sale at baby city (online only) down from $99 to $69. From pictures I've seen though it kind of looks like you need to unfold the whole thing to get to the pockets which would obviously be a pain...but maybe you can get to the pockets without unfolding it? It's kind of hard to tell!
