I got a "half strength" positive on the sunday, AF due the thurs, so 4 days before. I think it was a first response test.

I tested the day after AF was due and it came up positive on ClearBlue and another brand.

I'm crap with tests I cant usually test until about a week to 10 after period was due. and I hated waiting!

Mine was a faint BFP with an internet cheapie about 11dpo..so about 2-3 days before AF was due. I used ClearBlue this time on the morning AF was due and got a definate +ve. Faint positive on internet cheapy test 14DPO, but I wasn't sure whether this cycle was going to be "normal" or not as it was my first doing acupuncture for various fertility related things (plus had a BFN from 10DPO). I've had a faint BFP 8 days post ovulation - so 4 days before AF is due on a normal 28 day cycle. I think this was with a first response test.

I got a faint positive at 9dpo, so at least 4-5 days before my AF was due, super early!!  I kept testing every day after that and the lines got darker.  Yes the HPTS cost me a fortune lol!!

I notice there are some tests out there that claim to be accurate up to 4 days before your missed period. I know it depends on when implantation occurs etc but I'm interested to know...

How many of you got a bfp before your missed period? How may days (approx. before)?
