The top two had cut so the dentist just pulled it like a normal tooth. The roots had twisted so he drilled it in half and removed it in two pieces. If they haven't cut, then you need to go to a surgeon and be knocked out as it's not something you want to be awake for lol. Same goes if the tooth has grown funny and can't be pulled normally. He pulled those two with about 5 injections.

If you've got teeth issues, then it's a great idea to get them sorted before you TTC as I was told the pregnancy can exasperate dental issues.

(So i stand in another room when the dentist does xrays now )

Neferiti, when i said they shouldn't do xrays, this is going by the NZ dental assistants course, which i did 2 years ago ,according to them it IS a risk to have injections and usually dentists will avoid it if possible, ive worked for 4 dentists and never saw any of them do anxray on a pregnant women ,but realistically one xray will very rarely cause any long term effects, however better be safe than sorry i guess .

Edited by caitlynsmygirl

And by extensive, I mean 100 times more than you'd get at a dentist. And yip, she was born and normal baby - now nearly 9yrs old!
