Thanks for all the feedback. I was thinking that the lack of harnesses in the Mee Too chair would make it not very safe for a baby. I do like the look of the anywhere chair. We have the anywhere chair, not that he uses it anymore..but it was awesome. I took it everywhere with me...esp when we went away on holiday.
I got mine off TM but you i have seen them at baby factory as well.

we have the anywhere chair and it's excellent, just brought it recently but have used it a lot.

It's safe, durable and Luke sits in it well.

I have also used the P&T and found it the same as arohanui. I was always on edge and depending on the thickness of the table you can't use it everywhere.

I have a thing similar to the anywhere chair and love it. Great, simple and easy. Lots of the restuarants in ChCh have them just as their highchairs and have had no issues.

I have another sort of portable highchair that I got from Babycity and its great too, although a little bulkier but it depends what you want it for. Mine is plastic seat and has a tray that you can attach or detach and clips round the chair like the anywhere chair. I used the Phil & Teds one at coffee group a couple of weeks ago. It was attached to a table that seemed quite sturdy, but when Harry wriggled and kicked and flung himself about, it actually moved the table and I was scared it was going to flip over. I just kept my foot on the bar across the bottom of the table the whole time and it was fine, but I didn't feel comfortable leaving him in there while I went to wet the cloth to clean him up. So I think they're great if the table is really big and heavy, otherwise can be a bit scary!

The Anywhere Chair, the family I used to nanny for had one. I didn't see it used with younger babies, but once the kids were toddlers they used to sit on it (without the strap around them), just to make them a bit higher at the table. So it was used for a lot longer than a normal travel highchair would be.

We've got the P&T one - obviously our boy is still too little for it, but it was a present from BIL & SIL as they theirs. We've used it for visiting toddlers and it's great. Folds up small enough for the nappy bag, nice and light, yet very sturdy and safe.

ETA: rather than shelling out for it, you can get them with fly buys points...
