I'm not very experienced with sewing, and that was my first zip. It's merino inside, cotton outside. I have paid $25/m for merino knit at a shop in town (on sale - normally it's $50/m here), and sometimes have scored it for $15/m for merino from a manufacturer in Levin when I've gone over there. You could always try ringing 'Levana Textiles' in Levin, Horowhenua, and asking if they'd courier you some if you sent them an order and a cheque? They manufacture some fabrics for PP and Dimples, so their fabric is really lovely quality. They do sell seconds as well though, so be sure to specify if you want a bargain (seconds) or the good stuff.

Edited by Andie

Made it from a merino layer and a cotton layer. Not sure of a fabric shop in your area that sell merino but I found out about one in Akl from a thread somewhere here, might have one for your area. Try searching for merino

Our one was a hand-me-down from my nephew but I'm not too keen to fork out so much for another!

Has anyone tried to make their own one?

Our one is the summer one, so I was thinking as it gets warmer we could use the gogo bag at night, and I could make one with 2 layers of cotton for during the day?

Does anyone know where to buy merino fabric from if I decide to use that instead?
