I then sat on the couch with my feet up and laid the wheaty bag across them.  Worked a treat!  I even used it at night in bed.<br /><br />(I was due in summer though so you may not want to be doing that in winter.)<br /><br />]]>

I had to graduate in jandals cos its the only thing that fit me lol<br /><br />Watch for it turning hard too (oedema) as swelling is fine, but if you have other PE symptoms and then the swelling turns into oedema then you need to ring your m/w. I used to be able to poke my feet and then there would still be a massive indent an hour later.]]>

Helped me alot as I had major swelling. <br /><br />Also swimming is awesome for swelling so you may want to start that when you finish work.<br /><br />Do keep an eye on it though as I felt fine but had swelling from about 33 weeks.At my MW appt at about 37w4d my BP spiked and things turned to custard pretty quickly although I still felt sweet until the day of my induction.<br /><br />Not tos care you but do keep an eye on it as it is the 1st sign of PE usually.]]>

My feet & ankles were so sore and swollen with Sam and I used the find the only thing that gave me any relief was to either keep them elevated when possible or soaking them in cold water.<br />]]>

It was very bad last night and i could hardly sleep as they felt so painful.<br /><br />Any ideas/tips as to what may relieve them? I sleep with my feet on a pillow - would soaking them in hot water in the evening help or am i better off keeping them elevated as much as possible?<br /><br />I finish work after next week so hope things wont be so bad then . .. ]]>
