yip had really really bad ones was checked out for pre eclampisa (hope spelling is right)!! but was all clear.
Ended up going to a naturalopath and took extra vitamins under her guidance and it cleared it up. She especially looks after mums and babies so was happy to take the stuff. I decided not to take the drugs the doctors advised. I'm usually a migraine sufferer but started seeing a chiropractor two years ago and that helped so much that I didn't get a migraine again - just normal headaches. I'd never had migraines before during my pregnancy with DD2, and just after the birth, I got a lot of distrubances in my vision which turned out to be migraines. I have been pretty lucky so far, I suffer from migranes but have only had one (which lasted 2 days) while I have been pregnant, still I am only half way so there could be more to come.

I find being able to only take panadol just makes it worse. grrr

Strangely enough i get the opposite happening: I usually get 3-4 migraines a year, luckily not many, my mum gets it far worse. But both times I have been pg I haven't had one! After losing the last babe at in jan, I then proceeded to get one migraine a month till I got Pg again, and so far (touch wood) no more. Tis hard and I very much understand. All I can do usually is have some panadol (which doesn't do much for me) and try to sleep it off. I usually feel fuzzy headed for a day after as well. You poor thing - I know how horrible they are.

I suffered migraines quite bad when i was 4-6 months pregnant. I was getting them once a week.

I would wake up in the night or morning with them and had bad vomiting so couldn't keep any panadol down. I even tried the pessary panadol but that was useless (not easy to use )

I really hope they go away for you soon.

Yes it is normal to get more migraines and more headaches cos of the increased blood flow. Your lucky panadol works for you. I have found that my migraines have come back. I use to get chronic ones all the time, where I would have to go to hospital and be hooked up to powerful painkillers.

I had my last one a couple of weeks ago, and they are horrendous.
