With some of the clothes &amp; linen I've brought for my son, I've washed as usual but just before baby comes I'll do a rewash with just napisan. Probably wont use our normal powder until he gets abit older, My chillies are prone to a bit of eczma.]]>

I hang every thing on that inthe house, put the dehumidifier on and heater on and its dry with in a day!!]]>

Maybe it might be a little easier after this week when I'm finally on maternity leave.  Any great suggestions for getting everything dry?!!  ]]>

Also have Lux Flakes<br /><br />Can't remember where I read it but said that you should not use enzyme based washing powders/fabric softners for newborns as there skin is too sensitive to handle these types of things and can also contribute to nappy rash etc.<br /><br />As they get older and there skin toughens up you can use those type of products<br /><br />Would still prewash woollen knitted clothes unless you know where the wool has come from and how it has been treated. Gentle hand wash and lay out on a towel to dry and keep there shape.]]>

I just feel that our body produces diff stuff from hers and so dont wanna mix the cloths up....I know I am weird!! Normall wash our clothes on cold. Now his clothes get thrown in with ours coz most of them are dark. But whites normall go on a warm wash. Just put a load of baby stuff through to fill up the load i had. Bubs due in 9 weeks or so. Deffinately prefer to wash them first for someone so little. Espesh coz most of his clothes have been in storage for a ocuple of years or used by someone else in the meantime]]>

I am crazy!<br /><br />However I wont be washing this baby's cloths with normal powder untill I know baby is not sensitive to any thing! ]]>

I also bunged his stuff in the dryer for a bit to fluff it up when he was little, sometimes when they line dry they can be a bit stiff but 10mins in the dryer makes them nice and soft.]]>
