I used single sheet's on our cot casue I had only one set of cot sheet's I loved the single ones better cause you could fold it and have 2 sheet's in one if that makes scence. ie top and bottom.

When we looked at cots I don't actually remember seeing any standard size, only the American size. Most american cots seem to be larger so you can just take the sides off and use it as a first bed for longer.

DH and I are starting to think about cots and have been looking around. Everyone seems to talk about American Size or Standard Size cots.

What's the difference. I am assuming the American Size is bigger (isn't everything bigger in America?) but why? And is there a benefit to that?
