I did my first 4D at 18 weeks and it was just freakish looking to be honest. I just made appt and was told I may just be out of the ideal range for getting a good pic so I am crossing my fingers. I have talked to both my mw and the radiographer about best timing - both recommended waiting until around the 28-30wk mark as baby has filled out and is really looking like a baby with good features etc. Any earlier and baby is quite skinny and alien looking, any later and there is very little room to navigate the sonagraph around.

I ended up emailing radiology places in Hamilton and have heard back from Hamilton Radiology and they do them for $95. You get a cd, dvd, and 1 print of a photo of your choice so am gonna ring today and make appt. my friend got one done in hamilton - i'm not sure where though...
