Just check the expiry date, if it's a capsule some only last for 6 years. It would probably be cheaper for you to take the one you've been offered. Is it brand new or used? Check it out and make sure it's safe.

I have been offered a nice car seat for $50. Thing is, I might not need it for long, like 4 months, before we move to Aussie for a while. So I'm trying to find out if it would be cheaper to hire. I need to decide if I want the car seat today and the Plunket hire places are closed.
