I haven't got as far as calling the electrician but have spent many an hour puzzled as to why the oven won't work!!

My mum's oven also won't work if the clock isn't set.

the top elements work just not the oven...and i need the oven...grrr

Edited to add....FIXED IT...hubby moved the timer when cleaning...silly man...but yah me for figuring it out

now i can heat up a pie for our lunch and cook dinner
