I tried to get into the birthing pool at Kenepuru but there wasn't enough water in the pool before I had to jump in the ambo to go to Wellington. Ok...I've had no experience with birthing pools, but I had a look at the site, and isn't it just a normal pool, but with more strength? They say it can be used as one after, or a play pen

And not sure if you meant the boys will enjoy time in with mummy while your in early stages of labour or afterward and using as a pool....but if you meant during labour, wouldn't you be worried about keeping it clean as possible for the birth?

Edited to add: and I think your sooo brave! I'd be too scared to have a home birth!

A birthing pool at home. I have alway's wanted a home water birth. my friend has just bought one of these and are due in 2 week's she has offerd it to me to borrow. Birthing Pool. I can't wait it look's so good.
