I am loving the new job, they have given me flexi hours to work in with the boys so it is great.

Surgery went well, however they discovered Josh has the chicken pox during the surgery. When we got to thearte the anethatis(sp?) noticed he had a scratch on his chest, and I hadn't noticed it. They must have looked some more to find spots on his arms and tummy. Surgery was finished and he was confined to the room for the rest of the hosptial stay. We are at day 3 and the pain is kicking in and the not eating and drinking as well.

Recovery nurses thought I was a nurse as I was so relaxed seeing my child wake after the op and I knew about the drugs he was being given, but when it is general number 4 for your children you get kinda used to it all. And it helps I have a friend who is a ICU nurse and I helped her study for her drug exam I learnt a few things too.

Surgery tomorrow, Josh is looking forward to it, althou I don't quite think he knows what is happening lol.

Well we have just come back from the specialist and in 3 weeks Josh is getting his tonsillis and adenoids out and grommets put back in.

Josh has had sleep apenea since he was 1 and his snoring is beyond normal. He checked his ears out today and I knew 1 grommet was out already as I have it, but he has fluid in that ear again so in they go again!!!

Looking forward to the surgery for Josh cos at least it will help with a few things Josh has at the moment and the adenoids coming out will hopefully stop the constant runny nose too.

Josh is loving his new preschool. Whenever I drop him off he goes in sits at the table has his yoghurt for breakfast and I say goodbye give hima kiss and a cuddle and he waves bye to me no problems. I love his focus teacher he has she is wonderful with him and the rest of the teachers are great too. They said Josh just fitted in really well.

I am enjoying my job - loving the internet at my desk, rather than having to go to another room to use it!!! I am liking the responsiblity I have been given and so far seem to be proving myself as my boss is impressed with what I have achieved so far.

Well I am going to ring Plunket here and see if I can get Josh seen if not I will see if our nurse will see him before we leave Waiouru.

Jish finishes DC this week here in Waiouru and has 4 weeks before he starts his new one in Palmy. Getting sorted for our move back home - both boys are looking forward to it now they know what is happening.

Ro do you know what month she will be in so I can keep an eye out for it???

I have no idea why or blacklisting either Steph, sounds very random.

We got Josh a fishing rod, Thomas book and shorts and a shirt. He got cars and books and clothes from other people as well.

So we are moving from Waiouru, but back to Palmy. DH got a job down there and starts in 2 weeks. We are looking at moving down at the end of March so Andrew will only end up missing 1 week of school.

But today is 2 little people's birthday. Miss Charlotte and Mr Joshua. This time 3 years ago he was almost out of me (born 7.08pm), had a party yesterday for him with his friend Grayson and today as we had a power cut we didn't do much. Once the power was back on he spoke to the family.

Josh was measured and weighed last week at the dr's 104cm and 18kgs well of the scale for his age.

Thank, I have no idea what he will do, but if I stay here he may return to the books and study how knows.

Cambridge is lovely been there a number of times (well passed through).

Wow you pay more a week than I do a fortnight here in Waiouru, but then again a lot of people do.

I spoke with my current mananger and he was surprised when I asked him to be a referee for a job I have applied for in Trentham.

He will come with me, he isn't going to go back into the Army now.

I am going to look at other places as well, but Hamilton and Wellington are the first 2 I will look at. I like hamilton it isn't too far from Auckland but still far enough away for DH. Who knows I may get the job after all.

Going to Oz in 11 days and I can't wait to go.

I had an interview yesterday for my job, but I found it really hard being interviewed by people that I currently work for. So I am looking at jobs out of Waiouru, looking at Hamilton and Welly at the moment.

Well we are still in the middle of nowhere!!!!

My job is being made permanent so I ahve to apply for it. So hoping I get it over the other person I know who has applied for it - fingers crossed.

Me and the boys are off to OZ next month for xmas - so can't wait 3 weeks 2 days of very warm weather.

Josh is doing well talking far too much. He has just moved to the other side of daycare to the young explorers so that has been a big move for him. Toileting going well for him as well. He is off to the specialist again next month for his ears and hopefully we will get his tonsillis out - that boys snores so loudly that when we are down in Palmy he can keep me awake at night!!!

Other than that not much else is a happening here.

We have good news Josh is now day toilet trained . I am so glad he is but also a bit sad having to put all my nappies away, and now working out what to do with them.

He is in size 3 and some 2 and 4 clothing, and talking so much now. Loves daycare and has 1 best friend there, works out well as I work with his dad in camp so they can see each other often.

Josh is riding his bike with training wheels on it all the time now and we are lookng forward to our trip to OZ at the end of this year to see my parents and have xmas with them.

Wow she is tall - but then again you aren't exactly short so it would be strange for if she was a shorty. Haven't measured Josh since he was 26 months old and then he was 95cms tall and he has grown since then. Wonder if I can get him to stay still enough to measure lol.

Hey Ro, nice to see you back. Have to admit haven't been around here much over the past few months just posting when I feel like it every now and then.

Have to agree it is a nice different feel to it now.

Well I finally got the boys into Plunket up here last week.

Josh is way off both scales 16.5kgs and 96.5cm tall. He is the average height and weight of a 3 1/2 year old!!!

Doing so well with his talking - he doesn't stop. Toilet training is going well he is at the stage of taking his clothes off just after he has done something to clean himself up. Loving his books and reading all the time.

Probably going to miss his big brother at DC in a couple of weeks so that will be interesting!!!

Sorry its late but Happy Birthday for yesterday to Charly from Josh. We got stuck in Hamilton last night after the wedding so didn't come back like I wanted to.

Josh got a few presents up there but the rest will happen on the 28th.

So will Charly's sorry, I have been a bit preoccupied with a few things here.

We have started TT!!!

Josh has been sitting on the toilet for a while now - just sitting there, but last night after I took his nappy off he said "wees, wees" and ran off to the toilet. Banged on the door to get Andrew out and sat on the toilet and did wees!!! I am hoping this it will continue. Not too fussed if it doesn't as he is just 2.

Josh isn't having his party till the 28th due to weddings. But he is having 3 friends over (and extras) and having a small morning tea. He is also getting a party at daycare as well on the 13th.

I took Josh for a swim today and he put his ears under and so far all good. They say clean water is good and it was clean water we were in.

His ears are all good, grommets were still in place.

Just getting his 2nd birthday all organised. He is having 3 friends over (and a few extras), but just a little party. I got told the 3 he plays with the most and I work with their fathers at camp at the different schools I work at.

Off to a wedding next Saturday (on his birthday) so hopefully he is well behaved.

No good we think the left ear (the bad ear) the grommet is already out already. I am heading back to Palmy tomorrow to see the dr to get the ear sucked and to see what is going on in there.

Well Josh had his grommets in today and it went really well (well apart from hurting me coming out of the general). So glad they are in and fingers crossed on ear infections this winter.

Back at work today. Going to finish in an hour thou as everyone is out in the feild at the huge exercise we have here.

Boys had their first day back at daycare today too. Hadn't been there for over a month.

Yeah it was good to be with the family till the person we had the party for embarrassed herself and the family with how drunk she was.

My not smoking kinda failed. I caved the other week and now I don't really care. I am not smoking as much so that is kinda good in my eyes.

Hello, I have been away for the past 4 days withthe extended family down in Palmy.

Josh is having them in next Wednesday, I so can't wait. He currently has glue ear in both ears and wicked discharge coming out of the them. And I have had enough of the ear infections. We head down to Palmy on Wednesday morning and will be back that night, gotta love health insurance.

Josh is a solid 16kgs and I have no idea how tall (but very tall). He will be having his 2 year check down soon up here. Talks alot and is saying things we can understand which is good. Loves to sit on the toilet, but doesn't do anything in there. Is starting to say wees and then does them and did that with poos today so we may be starting toileting soon!!!

Josh will eat beans and peas and bread. On a good day I can get get more into him but all he has eaten over the past 3 days is beans, toast, ham and lolly cake .

Well we have had some fun times with Josh. Steph he sounds a lot like Lucas with the tummy thing Josh is just like that and is very fussy too.

Josh is booked in for grommets on the 28th of January. Saw the specialist on Tuesday and he had glue ear in both ears at the moment and that isn't good for December. Even thou his speech is really good the dr said he needs them and when he is a little older (over 3) he will be needing his tonsilis and adnoids out.

Got spoilt rotten today, but was very well behaved apart from his eating.
