We just got one of these -- I have been looking for a suitcase of some sort for Em to have when we go overseas. I want to get those travel stickers for the different cities we visit and plaster them all over the thing.

What appealed to me initially about these is that the kid can ride on it while you drag it along by the strap. Em has been riding/pushing hers around the living room all afternoon. It is very sturdy, and it opens down the middle so they can put heaps of stuff inside and see it all when it's laid open (rather than needing to rummage through a bag, which is always my problem -- whatever I want always seems to migrate to the very bottom). It's plastic so easy to clean. It's meant to be a carry-on, and I think it will be useful for packing her toys, activities, nappies and extra clothes for when we go to the US via Tokyo and back. All that flying means we'll need to be super-prepared!

oh I love it. I've been eyeing them up on the little treasures web site. I think they are selling them for $50.00 + points, if you collect them it would make it a bit cheaper.


Drat just went to have a look at treasure and they haven't got it there anymore

We have one Its good- Charlotte loved it last time we came back to visit although it did get a little wearing having to pull her all the time. It is very handy for in airports- especially big international ones where there is a big trek to the gates. We filled it full of things for her to do on the plane. The strap hooks over and clips onto the other end so it can be carried really easily over your shoulder when they aren't riding it.

We got alot of comments about it.

ETA: We got it in PINK (surprise surprise ).

Apparently they can and do! Nothing keeps my son happy while flying, but The last time we went on a plane he was 13 months.. going again on the 3rd of march, so will see how he is now. Has anyone seen one of these before?

I think they are so cool! We are going to be doing a lot of travelling with Alex when he is about 19 months old, and I'm wondering if it would be useful for him then? I haven't spent any time around 19 month olds so I'm not too sure what they're like, whether they could ride on the suitcase or not. I guess if nothing else it would be handy for carrying his toys and stuff on the plane?
