I had a m/c prior to having a 7 week scan and had absolutely no symptoms of anything being wrong, I think it would have been around 5 wks that bubs stopped growing, so this time around I was so nervous at the 7 week scan, but it was okay. i was still nervous up until 13 weeks, but the obstetrician told me that as the 7 wk scan was okay the chances of m/c were greatly reduced. I worried anyway cos I never had any morning sickness or many preg symptoms at all.

I guess just try not to stress too much, which isn't much help I know, but if its going to m/c you can't do anything about it anyway. To be honest I will worry until the day this one comes out, now I just worry about lack of movements etc.

You can request an extra scan if you are really worried, it will cost you, but for your own piece of mind if you are really stressed then do it.

My scan for my missed m/c at 12w showed my baby had stopped growing at 8w5d. My advice is be strong, get an extra scan if you can, and most importantly know that if its meant to be, it will be. Take things easy, and even tho it is virtually impossible, try not to worry and be stressed about it. You hang in there chickie, and know that we are all here for you.
Thats what someone told me, and it did help me alot.
Take care.

I guess I know that without another scan there's very little I can do. I doubt that they'd give me one without very good reason.

Emma, I am just like you - I wipe before and after peeing, poke my boobs just to see and read heaps into the sicky feeling. I feel a little sick again today, so that's reassuring.

I try not to worry - I haven't had any spotting or any serious pain, and I know that chances are greatly improved after seeing a heartbeat. But, seems you all know just how it is.

Why does this have to be so tiresome?!?

Badly! With the gremlins at least! With this one I had an excuse as I had a weeks worth of bleeding.

With the gremlins I did the constant undie checking, poked my boobs so much I could never tell if they were sore from pregnancy or being poked, and panicked if I only threw up 5 times instead of 6 in a day. I had a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny speck of brown CM at 9 weeks and convinced myself I was m/c so managed to con the midwife into referring me for a scan for "bleeding". Seeing both gremlins (thats when we found out they were twins) bouncing around in so much detail that we could even see their cords was really reassuring and definitely helped me to cope thru to 12 weeks.

If you are really worried, I would say get another scan. It can't do any harm at all and if it reassures you then it's worth it IMO.
