They've gotten me thru 3 pregnancies.

Watered down juice like Youngmum suggested is good too, that's what they give you in hospital when you're in with hyperemesis (chronic morning sickness).

Toast is good, yoghurt coz it goes down easily and doesn't hurt/burn if it comes up again. Agree with youngmum again on the no rice and noodles, and I'd even go so far as to say pasta either, they don't look good in reverse and worse, they get stuck half way up

The worst thing for me when I was preg with the gremlins was that Dominos brought out some awful pizza with cheese in the base, they advertised it on TV every five minutes and just the sight of it was enough to make me hurl, it was like torture, I felt like the TV was conspiring against me!

I have only just stopped feeling sick in the last week or so, i tried maxalon which didnt work so had to go onto something stronger once id got into my 2nd trimester.
people gave me so much advice, everything from sea bands (didnt work) to ginger (also didnt work!). I say just try EVERYTHING because everyone is different.

Toast with vegemite in the morning was a lifesaver for me. Avoid supermarkets if possible, the mixture of smells is just terrible. Make sure you get plenty of rest and NEVER let your stomach get empty of food - just keep snacking during the day, it really doesnt matter what it is. Another important point is to eat anyway, even if you throw it up (which i know is totally yucky - avoid noodles and rice which look and feel horrible coming back up and try yogurt and chocolate which taste good both ways). This will keep your keytones down and therefore stop you from getting worse.
