I did this at the Takapuna store and they didn't have a problem with it.]]>

DH can't sit in the front seat if I'm driving so I think maybe those convertible car seats are just big. We will live with not using that front seat much until we turn the seat around. <br />Sorry that was no help really.]]>

Damn I miss my Polo, I LOVED that car! Stupid children making me need a people mover <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0">]]>

You can put a very thin cloth underneath to protect the leather as long as it doesn't make the carseat slip around.  <br />You do have to be living in the Trust zone to claim the free carseat, you take your ID, baby's birth certificate and your latest power bill in to prove you live there.  They're pretty canny about that stuff unfortunately LOL.  I do love having a spare seat though.]]>

Shame to waste a cheap seat, there may be something really quick and easy that you're missing?  Have you taken it back to the ladies at Woodford Ave Carseat Rental to have a look at in your car?  They might be able to help?<br />You could definitely hire another convertible but if you're looking to have Cooper RF till at least a year then it's a long time to have the first one sitting useless.  <br />Sorry for the ramble.  But I hope you find a solution :)<br />]]>

It's such a pain that it is only when it's rear facing.<br /><br />Baby Factory weren't that helpful today.  They pretty much said most of the carseats are the same size...........helpful!!<br /><br />Two ladies in my coffee group have offered to let me try their seats in my car tomorrow, so fingers crossed one of the two fit! <br /><br />]]>

I would have a look around at some others. I don't think the one I had was a convertible one but it was one that fitted my 2 year old nephew so it wasn't a capsule and it was front facing.     <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=17622">sparkle</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 12341<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 18 November 2007 at 7:35pm<br /><br />We've got an Evenflow convertable carseat and it doesn't fit my car!!!<br /><br />The carseat is the one that Plunket give in West Auckland for the $25 donation, so it was not a case of I should have tried it in my car first.<br /><br />Are all carseats about the same size?  Am I going to have trouble finding one to fit?  The way it is now the passenger seat is pretty much up to the dash and airbag, so too dangerous for anyone to sit there.<br /><br />Anyone know of a car seat that fits into a Volkswagon Golf?  Or should I just look at gettting a new car??  So does anyone want to BUY a Volkswagon Golf<img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0"> ]]>
