I have 2 singlets form Farmers and they were great. I wore one while pregnant so it was nice and stretched and the other one I kept to wear at night. I got 1 for xmas and 1 on sale so didn't cost too much. Other than those I just pulled my top up.

I got some and loved them! Very discreet. You can b'feed in front of others without a fear that anything will show. And I still wear them even though I'm not b'feeding as they are so comfy.

I find Tom dribbles and I squirt so I always have a cloth nappy under my boob and that covers my tummy. I just use normal tops but make sure I can lift them up and preferably only one side at a time

At night time I wear pj bottoms and tight t-shirts that hold my breast pads secure. I have never worn a bra to bed and have big boobs and no probs. Just make sure the singlets are firm. Maybe the breast feeding singlets would be good. I've just got off trademe from melonbellies a expandable belly band. Nope you don't need them but that said I used them. I got most of mine though on sale so that helped a lot. I have three breastfeeding tops, but to be honest even when I wear them I just treat them like a normal top. i.e. lift it up and feed. I actually find Lucy is more likely to expose me when I'm wearing the breastfeeding top as she is more likely to get tangled up in the layers of clothing.

So no, you don't need them. I just wear my normal clothes. I've bought a singlet - which I haven't used yet, and a short sleeved top from 'breastmates' - found thru this site. They were too expensive for us, I mostly wear t-shirts one size up so I can pull them up. If they have enough roominess (but not necessarily baggy) you can still cover your belly. Otherwise I like belly bands (TradeMe). I just use 'accessible' clothes and cover up with a blanket. . Find those singlets good at night time but don't support me enough to go out in.

I just made do with my normal clothes, I would just wear something that had buttons or zip down the front. My boobs are quite small so I would have had to have pulled my top up over my head for him to get to them if wearing something that didn't button. Yep me too - I just wore normal tops, usually a singlet which I could pull down and another top/shirt over the top. Though I guess you'll be b/feeding in the middle of summer so won't want too many layers. I just wore normal tops - the specialist ones just seemed really expensive! I did have a breastfeeding singlet from Farmers though which was good to wear under things when you were out & about as it meant your tummy was still covered up. Hi there

I'm just wondering how many of you are planning on buying specialist breastfeeding tops? (& if so, where from?). I guess what I'm wanting to know is are these tops really necessary or can we get away with "normal" tops that have easy access such as buttons etc?
