We bought Pedigree Sport one for my first daughter 4yrs ago. We used it alot too, we were in Aucks with Kayla.
Just found that we were out for longer than a few hours and that was no good for her to be in a capsule that long, and she was only in her capsule for 5 months.

Kell, which Phil and Teds one did you settle on? 

I know its a bigger outlay, but I know that it would get a lot of use!  Especially since I live in Central Auckland and dont use the car that often as everything is in walking distance.

We brought a bertini pushchair with the capsule that clicks in. It was great, BUT.....we didn't think far enough ahead and have had to buy another pushchair for #2, as the ones with the capsule clips don't allow for a toddler seat to be attached. Thanks Fluery and congrats on your upcoming wedding!  My husband and I eloped this year and that took enough organising.....I cant imagine trying to organise a big wedding

I think I will have to do some research into the Bertini strollers, as that one has definately caught my eye!

Hi, lilfatty. My friend has the Bertini stroller with the capsule. I think its brilliant, the times she has been to visit she has been able to unclip the capsule and carry bubs inside etc. Also when they came to stay, they didn't need a portacot as Maia slept in the capsule. Her daughter is little though.

I think Its just a notstalgia thing that makes me like the bassinette type prams...If I really think about it a capsule system may work better, time to go and play with prams at the shop I think

Hi, it really depends on what you want to do. If you get a mountain buggy type stroller it's heaps better for going out for walks etc. But then if you do bush walk type walks, you might prefer a sling or front pack. The capsule system prams are great for if you are going in and out of shopping malls or meetings etc and the baby falls asleep in the car and you want to keep them asleep etc. But your baby will outgrow the capsule at 6-9 mos.

This little bump will be my first child.....Im looking for advice on purchasing a pram.

Id like a three wheeler as both my husband and I are quite active and would like to take the baby out and about.

However, is a capsule travel system type pram easier than a bassinette type pram?  I presume a capsule can be taken out of the car then snapped onto the pram, where as if we had the bassinette attachment, wed have to take the baby out of the capsule and put her into the bassinet....totally confused!

I saw a Bertini Bassinette System, that when the baby got older you just changed the seat to a toddler one .... I just dont know how practical bassinette systems are in the real world

Any help would be GREATEFULLY received
